Examples of when we collect some Personal Information include:
Opt-In. When you take advantage of the services offered on our Site, you are deemed to have automatically agreed to allow to be contacted by virtue of the contact information you provide and you may automatically receive commercial and promotional mail and or email messages about new products, services, features offered by us and participating companies and affiliates as a result. A consumer may also opt-in by visiting those third parties' Site. Any email sent by us or one of our affiliates will always include an opportunity to Opt-Out from receiving future mailings.
Opt-Out. If you do not wish to receive email from us, or our partners, you may Opt-Out by clicking on the "contact us" link at the top or bottom of our web site. Please be aware that each Interview is considered a new visitor session. This means that if you Opt-Out during the Interview you will not receive any email from us. However, if you begin a new Interview at a later time, unless you Opt-Out during or after that session, you may receive email from us.
How to Opt-Out. Every communication we send you will contain a clearly worded "Opt-Out" or "Unsubscribe" link allowing you to withdraw your permission for future e-mails.
Permission changes will be honored as soon as possible after receipt. Please allow seven to ten business days for processing. Permission changes will not affect any information which you previously provided to us and which we previously shared with our business partners.
Collection of Non-Personal Data: We gather non personally identifiable information ("Aggregate Data") with respect to our visitors' use of the Site to determine the extent to which our visitors use certain parts of the Site, which, in turn, enables us to make the Site as useful as possible. We may provide Aggregate Data about the use of our Site with quoting aggregators, participating insurance carriers and our business partners.
Cookies: We sometimes use a technology called "cookies" on the Site. Cookies are pieces of information that are sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Cookies collect technical data and identify your operating system and session ID. They can also save information you may have previously provided and help us quickly and easily recognize your computer when you return to the Site. Cookies are not linked to your Personal Information and do not identify anything personal about you.
How Can One Disable Cookies? Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. If you prefer, you can reset your browser to notify you when you've received a cookie or, alternatively, to refuse to accept cookies; however, this may limit your ability to take full advantage of the features offered on the site.
Web Beacons. We may also use web beacons, which allow our partners to place a cookie onto an end user's computer when they visit one of our partner Site so that when the end-user visits our Site, that cookie data is tracked by our partner and our partner can identify that the end-user achieved a certain milestone. This is a tracking concept used commonly on the Internet, also referred to as "pixel tracking."
Session ID. We may collect end-user data based off of a session ID. This helps us organize answers to questions. This convention allows for the use of an end-user's session ID to see all of the end-user input for one quote.
IP Addresses. We may collect and analyze traffic on our Site by keeping track of the IP addresses of our visitors. IP addresses are unique numeric identifiers that are assigned to each computer browser accessing the Internet. An IP address, by itself, cannot identify you personally. However, when combined with other information provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP), your IP address can be used to identify the computer originating a message.
Partners and Affiliates: Sometimes third party service providers, partners, advertisers, or other affiliates are retained or utilized by us and may have access to our visitors' Personal Information. This information is required in order to generate accurate and bindable rates. Please be aware, while we take steps to protect third party use of Personal Information through agreements and restrictions on access to and use of such information, there is no means for us to police the activities of third parties' use of Personal Information disclosed to them and thus we are not responsible for, and we disclaim liability incurred by and or through, such parties, as permitted by law.
Other Disclosures: We also reserve the right to disclose your Personal Information if we are required to do so by law or we believe that such action is necessary including, without limitation:

If you make any purchase from these third parties as a result of visiting our Site, that company may share your Personal Information with us regarding the product(s) purchased and related information but we will not then share that information with unaffiliated third parties. Please Note: when you purchase third party products and/or services from third party web Site, you become their customer and are subject to their privacy policies. We encourage you to review these companies' privacy policies and only do business with those who adhere to personal information practices with which you are comfortable.
